DELIVERY POLICY DELIVERY ADDRESS We can deliver to an alternate address, however, when placing an order you MUST use the correct billing address of where your credit card is registered where prompted. ***Christmas 2014 Post Deadlines - Please note that the last Christmas posting date for Second Class items is Thursday 18th, Friday 19th for First Class and Tuesday 23rd for Special Next Day deliveries. We recommend that you place your orders as soon as possible as once item have been collected from us, everything is in the hands of our courier (Royal Mail). Orders that are under £75 are sent Second Class. Orders between £75 and £149 are sent First Class, and orders equal to or greater than £150 are sent Special Next Day delivery. If you require your postage to be upgraded to First Class or Special Next Day, then please email or phone to arrange an extra payment as we do not currently have these options in our checkout system. Thanks.*** DELIVERY UK All orders placed will be sent out within 24 hours of us receiving your order, excluding weekends & Bank Holidays. All orders are sent out using Royal Mail, but hillier jewellers cannot guarantee that it will get there in the specified timescale if there is a problem with the courier. We do not deliver on a weekend, unless you specifically request this. If this is the case, then there will be an additional charge. Orders for special event days such as Valentines, Easter, Mothers Day, Christmas etc, need to be placed up to 3 working days prior to the required delivery date. E.g. For an order for Valentines Day on Saturday 14th February, the delivery will only be processed if the order was placed before 2:00pm on Tuesday February 11th, to be received on Friday February 13th. Orders received after 2:00pm on Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If there is no one at the address supplied at the time of delivery, another delivery will be attempted on the next working day. If there is no-one at the address after the second delivery attempt then your item(s) will be taken to the nearest royal mail sorting centre, where it is YOUR responsibility to collect or arrange re-delivery. If you do not collect your items, or have them re-delivered, within 5 working days then your item(s) will then be sent back to hillier jeweller where you will have to pay for re-delivery. We endeavour to process orders as soon as possible and the majority of our orders within UK mainland are delivered within 1-5 working days of being received. If, for any reason, your delivery will be later than the date stated, we will notify you immediately to arrange a later delivery date or the option to cancel your order. As we use a third party for deliveries we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to postal strikes, transport strikes and incidents, flood, drought. The United Kingdom includes the UK mainland, NOT the Highlands & Islands, including The Channel Islands, The Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. DELIVERY INTERNATIONAL Please note that any order placed from outside of the UK Mainland will be processed & despatched at the discretion of hillier jewellers. All information provided must be correct for us to receive an authorisation from your issuing bank. If the information we receive from you is incorrect, or we are unable to receive sufficient authorisation from your issuing bank, your order will be cancelled & you will be notified immediately as to the reason(s) why. RETURNS POLICY ***Extended Christmas Returns - Any item purchased from November 1st 2014 to December 23rd 2014, will be eligible for the extended return period until January 7th 2015.*** RETURNS UK MAINLAND All U.K. Mainland orders placed on will have 7 WORKING days to return any items which are no longer wanted, faulty etc. for a full refund (this is 7 working days from receipt of goods, not from ordering). If we receive any returns after 7 working days, we will have no alternative but to send your items back to you, as we will no longer accept anything after 7 working days have expired. FOR HYGIENE REASONS WE CANNOT REFUND OR EXCHANGE THE PURCHASES OF EARRINGS. RETURNS INTERNATIONAL All orders placed from outside of the UK are sent at the discretion of hillier jeweller. If we receive an appropriate authorisation from the issuing bank of the credit/debit card used, then we will have no problem in despatching an order. If, however, we cannot receive appropriate authorisation, your order will be cancelled & you will be notified immediately. IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED You may return the products to us, whereupon a full refund will be made provided that the products are returned in the same conditions as received within 7 days of your receipt of the goods for a full refund. Anything received after 7 days will be sent back to the customer (at the customers cost), as we no longer accept returns after 7 days (UK Mainland only). You may request replacement products, which we will despatch to you (subject to availability) on receipt of the original products, which were not satisfactory, from you. No refund will be made in these circumstances & there is only 7 days for this action.
